Abstract

MAS, Julia Paim  and  MIZOGUCHI, Danichi Hausen. The experience of occupation: a narrative of uncertainties. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2019, vol.19, n.45, pp. 275-285. ISSN 2175-1390.

The present article lends itself to analyzing the occupation held at the Federal Fluminense University between November 2016 and January 2017. The university occupation took place - under the inspiration of other movements, such as the Occupy Wall Street and the secondary occupations of São Paulo - with the urgent intention of facing the PEC number 55/2016, which proposed the freezing of public investments - mostly in health and education - for twenty years. Using the experience of a student and a teacher, with their different perspectives and positions in the occupation, the article operates a narrative policy under which alternately presents and problematizes some important elements and events of this political movement - with conceptual discussions that provide more tone and complexity to the discussion.

Keywords : occupation; politics; state; resistance; happyness.
