BENICIO, Luís Fernando de Souza; BARROS, João Paulo Pereira  e  SILVA, Dagualberto Barboza da. Juvenile homicides in Fortaleza under the perspective of professionals of the Family Health Strategy. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2019, vol.19, n.46, pp. 509-527. ISSN 2175-1390.

In the face of a historical scenario of lethal violence against juvenile segments in Brazil and the intensification of this problem in the Northeast region, in the last years, this article seeks to analyze the perceptions ofprofessionals of the Family Health Strategy (ESF) that work in one of the peripheral regions of Fortaleza about juvenile homicides in their daily activities. The locus of the investigation is justified by the fact that Fortaleza stands out as the Brazilian capital with the highest rate of homicide in adolescence (IHA). Such problematization will take the form of theoretical lenses from Social Psychology dialogues with studies by Foucault, Deleuze, Guattari, Agamben, Butler and Mbembe, as well as related productions on violence, poverty and youth. The research data allow us to problematize the policy of death, from the production of killable bodies to the spawning of territories of exception.

Palavras-chave : Youth; Homicide; Family Health; Death Policy.
