Abstract

ALCOTA, Pablo. The 21st century Chilean insurrection of 30 pesos. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2020, vol.20, n.47, pp. 6-20. ISSN 2175-1390.

The objective of this work is to understand the 21st century Chilean insurrection of 30 pesos as an initial, partial and positioned approach. Conducting a bibliographic review and participation in the same insurrection, I developed this work from an ethnographic approach, describing and analyzing the context of the events, in order to support the notion of the Chilean insurrection. From the perspective in which I place myself, as indigenous anarchist, I propose that in Chile one does not live in democracy, initiating a reflection on alternatives for a dignified life, which breaks the illusion of the capitalist, racist and sexist neoliberal model, materialized in various positions of authority, on different levels of society, aiming to decolonize and deconstruct, and that from human and social sciences, and in particular from psychology, which studies human behavior, we must make a real contribution, and stop contributing to the dominant power.

Keywords : Anarchism; Chile; Decoloniality; Insurrection; Power.
