Abstract

BARBOSA, Gustavo Carrijo; BERIGO, Milena Rezende  and  ASSIS, Thaís Rocha. Health for the LGBT+ population: a bibliometric review. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2020, vol.20, n.47, pp. 149-164. ISSN 2175-1390.

TBrazil's Sistema Único de Saúde (UnifiedHealth System - SUS) pursues to provide equal care to the population without distinction whether by color, age, gender or sexuality. It also seeks to provide a structure that handles all the demand, thinking of health as a right of all. The actions, programs, public policies and technologies aimed at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT+) community are based on the fight against the prejudice and discrimination that affect this population and on the need for recognition by the Executive Branch at all levels. However, the accomplishment of these policies' guidelines does not happen through the simple elaboration and publication of statements. This study aims to identify bibliometric indicators about the scientific production on health for the LGBT+ population.

Keywords : Comprehensive Health Care; Unified Health System; Gender identity; Homosexuality; Transexuality.
