This manuscript enable a debate based on the transversalization of notions of youth, territory and security. To think of these notions and their interlacements becomes relevant as a way of analyzing rationalities that permeate and sustain the forms of youth control in Brazil. Emerging analyzers of three surveys are used, which cross the theme: the first discusses the issue of security in state public schools; the second involving adolescents inserted in the socio-educational system also of the state of Rio; and the last, with analyzes about Brazilian drug policies. It is said, therefore, that in the diversity and multiplicity of forms it is young, lines of segregation are drawn which delimit some youths as more dangerous, which become a greater target of social control. Thus, security and territory are sustained as lines that cross the themes of each research and are outlined as rationalities that appear in the construction of public policies for youth in Brazil.
