Abstract

SCOTT, Juliano Beck et al. Articulations of psychology on territory: intersectoriality in the basic social protection. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2020, vol.20, n.49, pp.654-666. ISSN 2175-1390.

This article aims to analyze the practice of psychologists in Basic Social Protection (PSB), more specifically, the intersectoral articulation established by professionals in the Psychosocial Care Reference Centers (CRAS). For this, ten psychologists working in the ten CRAS of a capital city in the northeast region of Brazil were interviewed. The categorization of the data occurred in different stages and the results showed that some of the participants did not use the technical procedures recommended by the National Social Assistance Policy, especially those related to intersectoriality, occurring through partnerships and informal referrals, both for the public network as private, in an individual and personalized way, maintaining the network disarticulation. Therefore, it is necessary to make progress in the discussion about the work of the psychologist in social policies, with emphasis on the construction of collective coping strategies that respond to the demands of the population served, such as articulation with managers, councils and the social assistance network.
