Abstract

GOMES, Allan Henrique  and  MAHEIRIE, Kátia. Audiovisual mediation and territory: migrant scenes in a formative path. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2021, vol.21, n.50, pp. 211-223. ISSN 2175-1390.

ABSTRACT This article presents the results of an intervention-research meeting with workers from the Sistema Único de Assistência Social (Brazilian Unified Social Assistance System), participants in a formative training course focused on audiovisual mediation. The audience and discussion of a documentary on the working city-territory of the workers allowed an analysis inspired by the assumptions of Lev Vigotski and Jacques Rancière. In terms of results, it can be highlighted that the meeting under analysis is linked to the meetings previously produced in the training course. What stands out in this fifth audiovisual mediation meeting is a process called "disinformation", which implies in breaking up the documentary into the discussion of the affections and experiences of the spectator participants, especially the migration experiences. In this sense, the article stresses racial issues in the production of the city's memory. Finally, it is considered that audiovisual mediation mobilized a process of signifying the city and reflecting on historical and territorial issues.
