ROSA, Pablo Ornelas; BRAGA, Tatiane  e  ANGELO, Vitor de. Newest rights, post-truth and "aesthetics of noise". Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2022, vol.22, n.53, pp. 123-142. ISSN 2175-1390.

This article derives from the intersection of two different researches on the emergence of the Newest Brazilian Right movements and the technologies mobilized to spread their worldview. We adopt the notion of newest social movements presented by Richard Day (2005) to address what we are calling newest Brazilian rights, in view of the contextual and conceptual limitations presented by Antônio Flavio Pierucci (2000) about the New Brazilian Right based on his analyses arising from Brazilian post-constituent context, which began in the 1980s. This article sought to investigate the strategies used by members of these Newest Right movements, based on ethnographic research - which included an interview with three members of the 'Movimento Brasil Livre' (MBL), two of them being their founders, Kim Kataguiri and Alexandre dos Santos, in addition to Arthur do Val, known as "Mamãe Falei" -, aiming to understand the forms of construction and diffusion of their speeches, as well as their capillarization in Brazilian politics through what they called "aesthetics of noise".
