Abstract

MENDES, Cleise Furtado. About passions in comedy . Cogito [online]. 2009, vol.10, pp. 21-27. ISSN 1519-9479.

Starting from a critical review of the concept of dramatic catharsis, this work studies this phenomenon from the point of view of comedy. To accomplish this aim, it analyses some traditional approaches of comic effects, giving place for a research about the passions that are involved in comedy’s experience.
