Abstract

This article argues that psychoanalysis, as a social practice, creates areas of knowledge, produces new objects, new concepts, new techniques, and gives rise to another type of subject, the subject of the unconscious. So his discourse as a way of knowing appears linked to the phenomena of power and power relations that emerge from the unconscious through desire.
