Abstract

VICENTE, Sônia. Non-time man . Cogito [online]. 2011, vol.12, pp. 47-50. ISSN 1519-9479.

The analytic session is a lapse in time aimed at a singular point in the discourse that enables the subject, while a falasser, to a rectification of his existence’s meaning and logic mode. The purpose of this article is to show that the analytic experience is, essentially, a time management. A review of the literature supports the report of a clinical case which heads to analysis by the time his life is thought to be almost through. The maneuver of time, in the transference, reveals the reinsertion function which an interpretation must have, readdressing to the act its two dimensions: cut and infinity. The act reveals the non semantic dimension of the unconscious, which suggests that it is a timely result of the analytical session. In this way, the direction of the treatment of this subject, with sessions of variable durations, leads him to rectify his symptoms as a way to the unconscious satisfaction, dislocating himself from his fantasy of eternity to, so, start living.
