The aim of the current study was to formulate a psychometric analysis of the Battery of Verbal Evaluation for Learning Disabilities (BEVTA), a psychopedagogical evaluation instrument with a plain framework designed in Chile. Participants were 447, with ages ranged from 7 to 12 years old, both male and female those were evaluated with the present battery from 1996 to 2004. The method was descriptive-psychometric with a comparative-descriptive design. The results showed that the four subtest of the battery neither have a high reliability nor construct validity but, on the other hand, presents validity related to the criterion.
