The objective of the present investigation, was to know which are the instructions that the parents try to transmit to their adolescent children with the purpose that they have a good life. We worked with base in a non probabilístic sample of intentional type, composed by 174 participants, distributed equitably in parents and children by sex. As instrument of data collection were used the technique of natural semantic networks. The applications became of individual form. The results show that the parents orient fundamentally to their children so that they have a good life, through the education of values, of which they obtain a good personal overcoming, and the self-care, that basically are directed to try to cover the psicosociocultural objective for the human life, that is to try to get to be somebody in the life. Also, were observed that the tendency stays to form to the men with instrumental bases, in comparison with the instructions given to the women who take to develop personality characteristics which they can enter in a big conflict, because the parents teaches to the women to be more instrumental than before, but also goes to them so that they continue having a series of characteristics of personality more expressive or affective type.
