To achieve the objective, an individual interview was applied to 90 adolescents, from an average urban context, of which 30 were in sixth grade in primary school (12 years), 30 were in third grade secondary school (15 years) and 30 in third grade preparatory school (18 years). The results of the comparison between the first and second occupational option show, in most cases there is no relation between these aspirations and the areas of knowledge that they relate to.
