Abstract

Languages and thought: an introduction to an interdisciplinar approach between psychopedagogie and semiotics for the comprehension of thinking construction. Cad. psicopedag. [online]. 2004, vol.3, n.6, pp. 28-39. ISSN 1676-1049.

This work is a first approach to the study of the intense relationship between the development of thought, in human beings, and its mechanisms. Especially it focuses to the role of languages in this process, mainly the verbal language, spoken or written. Vigotsky did important researches about the question of child thought development. We use his studies, as well as those of Paim and Jarreau, by the field of Psychology and Psychopedagogy and we try to think in an interdisciplinary away using those authors and the Semiotics and Linguistics researchers Peirce, Saussure and Chomsky.
