Abstract

This work intends to present the first approaches in the study of transformations in the symbolic production of children who suffer from learning disabilities and attend for two years psychopedagogical group treatment. The main conclusions and discussions raised are part of the master´s thesis of the author. In this research a comparative analysis was conducted in order to know differences and resembles between graphics and cognitive production of children before beginning the therapeutic process and after two years of assistance. The analysis results have allowed the first systematic description of the symbolic changes found and the development of clinical and theoretical hypothesis about the psychical transformations involved in these changes. This article presents questions and research objectives and also some of the main results, considering a clinical case studied.
