Resumen

The main aim of this study was to compare the performance of children in tests of reading, writing, arithmetic and/or screening of central auditory processing, before and after virtual rehabilitation with Nintendo Wii®, concurrent with conventional voice rehabilitation, and the secondary objective was to characterize the participants. We performed selection and analysis of medical records of patients from SORRI-BAURU following inclusion criteria. Most of the subjects are male, has 8 years for age, studying in state or public schools, with per capita income between ½ to 1 minimum wage, with a diagnosis of Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, or Intellectual Disability. Results showed that subjects maintained or improved performance on the test instruments used.genre sequence. It is observed that virtual rehabilitation, although it is a newer form of rehabilitation, is already showing positive results for the area of speech therapy.
