Abstract

The article deals with the sensitive issue of the analyst's desire, emphasizing some peculiarities present in the act of psychoanalyze, in particular related to the possible reasons towards the enthusiasm necessary for the maintenance of such a practice in current times. To keep psychoanalysis alive and welcome those interested in treatment may require from the analyst deep re-significations in the fields of love and work. It also proposes to extend the investigation on the effects and consequences of such profession in the psychoanalyst's life.
