Abstract

MEIRELLES, Carlos Eduardo Frazão. Social symptom and the emergence of PCC. Stylus (Rio J.) [online]. 2015, n.31, pp. 145-158. ISSN 1676-157X.

The article is a theoretical research on the concept of social symptom by Jacques Lacan. It discusses the notions of symptom like a return of truth in the failure of knowledge, and as real satisfaction, linked to the interpretation of Marx on the passage of feudal time to capitalism, with the emergence of proletarian worker. Way beyond a historical period and a specific social class, Lacan extends the proletarian condition to each individual of modern society, coupled with the lack of social ties. We interpret this condition by working relationships mediated by capital, by the invisibility of the social relations in the merchandise, and by the dispossession of knowledge with the advent of the machine and its proliferation in everyday life. We use in the article elements from the criminal organization of the First Command of the Capital (PCC) as an example.

Keywords : Symptom; Lacan; Marx; Primeiro Comando da Capital; Capitalism.
