Abstract

ASSIS, Marcia de. To make love is poetry: links and contingencies. Stylus (Rio J.) [online]. 2015, n.31, pp. 177-185. ISSN 1676-157X.

This is the result of a cartel upon Lacan's Seminar Encore which aims to develop the following statement of Lacan: "To make love, as the expression implies, is poetry", pointing to a new function of love which is to make link, its substitutive function. It is by putting love under test, in face to the impossibility of the sexual relationship that does not cease to not write itself, the affect before the hiatus, that allows the contingent encounter. Is not that love of the order of invention an indication of a knowledge on how to make a conduct?

Keywords : Love; Non sexual relationship; Substitution; Link.
