Abstract

PACHECO, Ana Laura Prates. Untying a tight knot, dissolving a knot in the throat and getting blood from a stone. Stylus (Rio J.) [online]. 2016, n.32, pp. 27-35. ISSN 1676-157X.

Departing from Lacan's Seminar 22 "The names of the father", the text introduces the epistemological and clinical advance generated by the writing of the Borromean knot as a "space of parlêtre," which articulates the connection of the three registers (Real, Symbolic and Imaginary) from the central hole. It is also articulated the embracement of human suffering by the psychoanalyst, taking into consideration the exact precision formalized by Freud (Inhibition, Symptom and Anguish) and the operations conducted by the Psychoanalyst so from that point on a new desire can be triggered. The text follows the passage of the knot of three to the knot of four elements, introducing the writing of the Names of the Father with the Symptom and a new interpretation of the Oedipus Complex.

Keywords : Borromean knot; RSI; Names of the Father; Oedipus Complex.
