Abstract

POLLO, Vera. Transsexuality and transgender: the sexual enjoyment of talking being. Stylus (Rio J.) [online]. 2016, n.33, pp. 177-189. ISSN 1676-157X.

This paper discusses the sexual jouissance of speaking beings, with an emphasis on transsexuality and the transgender. The first part aims to place the question historically, departing from the first register of a transsexuality case and the First authors who studied the topic. The second part introduces four psychoanalytical concepts conceived by Freud and Lacan in order to circumscribe this type of jouissance: impetus, phallus, sexuality and sexation. In the third part, the text works on some encounters and divergences between the two last concepts. The fourth part focuses on João W. Nery' book Solitary trip - The memoirs of a transsexual 30 years later. The final part then brings the results of some psychoanalytical answers mainly related to transsexuality.

Keywords : Transexuality; Transgender; Phallus; Sexuality; Sexaction.
