This paper presents the experience of a clinical case, in which it was possible to follow the unfolding of precious decisions and, with these, determinant positions in the life of Sofia, a twelve-year-old young woman who was referred after a difficult choice, which surprised the people who lived with her. With this work, it is possible to explain the direction of treatment, making an analogy with the film The choice of Sofia, where the protagonist also came across difficult choices in her life. We start, thus, by exploring the choice of phenomenal order to articulate on the unconscious choice, which is structural.
