Abstract

This article presents the APOIAR project, that is inserted in Mental Health and Social Clinic Psychologic Laboratory of University of São Paulo. This project is based on the psychoanalitic concepts by Winnicott aims to develop distinguished attendance. Also the project adopts concepts of suffering, based on Jacqueline Barus-Michel (2001). The article also refers to the psychologist’s role based on the Bleger’s work. The article mentions projects of research and intervention in Social Clinic Psychology, that aims to study and help people that is in a suffering condition. These projects are developed in association with the Lab and are developed with people with impairment, violence victims, people with organic and mental diseases, as well as Guaranis indians of the city of São Paulo city. The lab, particularly the APOIAR, aims to develop the tripod that support the public university: teaching, research and attendance to community.
