Abstract

The goal of this study is to get the accuracy of the indicators of familiar relationship. This instrument was developed by Formiga et al. (2003) and evaluates the importance that young person assign to eight sentences and adjectives for a good familiar relationship. This study is composed by three samples: one with 490 subjects, another with 390 subjects, and finally one with 504 youth. The samples was carried out in the city of Palmas (Tocantins). In all of them the respondents are both female and male, among 11and 20 years old. The results have confirmed an unifatorial existence of the scale, as well as its reliability with alphas above 0,80 for the studied samples.
