Abstract

MARIN RUEDA, Fabián Javier. Memory and intelligence in psychologist assessment of skills. Psic [online]. 2006, vol.7, n.2, pp. 59-68. ISSN 1676-7314.

This study aimed to verify the existence of a possible relationship between the memory and intelligence constructs. 51 individuals were assessed to obtain the national driving license on the Minas Gerais state. Of them, 41.2% required the A category and 58.8% B category. The Teste Pictórico de Memória and the Teste Conciso de Raciocínio (TCR), were individually applied by an expert psychologist with a credential of DETRAN-MG. The results showed a positive correlations between the grouping Land and the memory test with the TCR (0,38 and 0,36, respectively). This correlation indicated a validity evidence for the Teste Pictórico de Memória.
