Resumo

This article aims to analyze anxiety, depression, stress and specific quality of life levels in skin disease patients. The participants were 151 persons, men and women, between 20 to 89 years old. The study used a descriptive, transversal and correlational methodology. The data were collected through BAI, BDI, DLQI-BRA and ISSL. The results indicates anxiety and depression levels showing by a light mean in a compliance with the instrument characteristics (BAI: 10,76±9,21; BDI: 13,49±11,45). As regards of stress, 60,3% of the sample got positive results for stress, presenting the psychological area as more affected. The specific dermatology quality of life results shows a low levels mean when compared with another Brazilian studies (3,69±3,72), as well as another countries. However, this survey shows moderate and high significant correlations ( 0,01), for anxiety, depression, stress, specific quality of life levels, therefore we can attest the illness as evidence of relation between psyche and physics, as showed by the literature.
