Abstract

Health Psychology, as an area of applied study in relation to the process health-disease, has developed researches and interventions in the health services. However, it is necessary that the psychologist rethinks about the ethical aspects involved in the psychotherapy and research practices. The performance of the professional in this context is distinguished by its interdisciplinary characteristic and, in consequence, becomes relevant the creation of spaces for debates about health services in order to develop the proposal of the studies concerned with the ethical aspects present in the daily circumstances during the professional practice. Nowadays, Bioethics is the center of attention of researchers and health professionals. Its insertion is fundamental considering questions about the process health-disease in medical centers, hospitals and health basic service. Therefore, this paper aims to argue about the ethical principles involved in the psychotherapy practice and the interventions in the health services.
