Abstract

This research aimed to verify whether the Teste de Atenção Concentrada (TEACO-FF) shows differences in relation to the scholarship, types of pericial psychological assessment, concerning to the license to drive considering the fact that the person drive as a profession or not. 698 participants, aging from 18 to 58 years old, of both the sexes (374 males and 324 females) living in Bahia e Sergipe were analyzed. Their education varied from the incomplete basic education to graduate. The tests were collectively administered in specialized clinics, authorized by the Detran, and the psychologists were trained to this selection. The results suggested the necessity of adequate patterns related to the level of education, the type of assessment and the use of the license aimed. This conclusion is supported by the results of the TEACO-FF and the differences statistically significant showed in each case. Finally, evidences of validity concerning with to the traffic context were verified to the TEACO-FF.
