MAIA, Maria Vitória Mamede e PINHEIRO, Nadja Nara Barbosa. The stuff dreams are made of: appointments on dreams and agressivity on adolescence. Lat. Am. j. fundam. psychopathol. on line [online]. 2008, vol.5, n.1, pp. 84-93. ISSN 1677-0358.
The present paper reflects on antisocial tendency usually presented by adolescents at clinical setting. First, it presentS Freud´s theory on dream's formation, aiming to stress its importance to psychological economy in order to aloud that some non-sense experiences be symbolized. Then, it presents Winnicott´s perspective about child development focusing de-privation and antisocial tendency as an appeal to environment to be understood and sustained. At the end, a co-relation between dreams and antisocial tendency is proposed since both could be understood as a message to be interpreted, process which leads to elaboration and psychological transformation. Psychoanalytical clinic is presented as a vector which makes it possible.
