Abstract

ALCHIERI, João Carlos; LUNKES, Carla Luci Klein  and  ZIMMER, Débora. Toulouse-Piéron: norms for the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Aval. psicol. [online]. 2002, vol.1, n.2, pp. 111-118. ISSN 1677-0471.

In this work we present new norms for the Toulouse-Piéron test of concentrated attention. The participants of this study were 2692 individuals who participated in several selective processes, in public and private companies, from 1995 to 1999 in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It was observed the predominance of males (2369 or 88%) in the sample. Age varied from 19 to 62 years and the instruction level went from elementary school to college graduates. The distribution of the scores in the variables speed and quality did not present significant age differences. However, there was evidence of significant differences in speed as a function of the level of instruction. This study also presents the standardized results in percentile tables, taking into account the level of the instruction.
