To find ways to measure the creativity has been a challenge to many searchers. The purpose of this study was to gather data to standardize the Brazilian Test of Figural Creativity (BTFC). The sample was composed by 1426 students (672F/754M), from 1st to 8th grade of Elementary School, from public (n=709) and private (n=717) schools of southest (n=476, 232F/244M), northeast (n=496, 219F/277M) and center-west regions (n=454, 220F/234M) are comprised on this study in coletive aplication in classroom. The TBCF is composed by three activities that must be answered with drawings from the porposed stimuli. It allows to evaluate 13 cognitive and emotional indicators of creative. When comparing the results through a Variance Analysis we found significant effects of sex variable (F= 7,08, p?0,000), grade level (F=6,93, p?0,000), region (F=7,09, p?0,000) and type of school (F=11,26, p?0,000). Such data confirmed the need of presenting standards of specific interpretation, allowing the obtained results to be properly interpreted.
