Scientific production analysis aims to describing or mapping the production in specific areas, showing details about aspects that have already been studied and also blanks. This paper analyzed 943 posters' abstracts presented at three National Conventions of Psychological Assessment. Women were the most productive, with authors filiated to public and private schools from Southwest brazilian region. Many different tests were referred to in the abstracts, most of them were objectives tests of intelligence and personality. Most studies were psychometric and used quantitative analysis. The main tendencies observed are discussed as its implications for research and practice in psychological assessment.
