Abstract

VILLEMOR-AMARAL, Anna Elisa de; PIANOWSKI, Giselle  and  GONCALVES, Clênia Maria Toledo de Santana. Normative studies about the color pyramid test in a brazilian north-eastern sample. Aval. psicol. [online]. 2008, vol.7, n.2, pp. 181-188. ISSN 1677-0471.

The aim of this study was to verify the occurrence of significant differences between the recent normative data for the Pfister's Pyramids Test, based on a sample restricted to Southeast region of Brazil, and those ones obtained from a sample of no-patients in the north-eastern population, which could justify the use of regional normative tables. The sample was composed by 83 adults no-patients, volunteers males and females, with high school or a higher level of education, from three states of Northeast. The statistics descriptive tables are presented as well as the results through the comparison of both groups. According to the findings, there is no need for a regional normative work, since there were no significative differences between the two samples which could justify such implementation.
