The Human Figure Drawing (HFD) is an instrument used to assess children that can't verbalizer their thoughts and feelings due to emotional or organic questions such as deaf people. The aim of this study was to verify evidences of validity of HFD for deaf children. Hundred and eighteen children took part in this research, been 37 listeners and 81 deaf. Within the deaf, 31 oralisted, 29 bilingual and 21 of total communication. It wasn't found significative differences in the media comparison from HFD indicators between deaf and listeners. However, when compared the deaf groups, the emotional indicators of transparency, closed to the body, clouds and three or more spontaneous drawing figure, as well as amount of all the indicators were significantly different. These results showed that are evidences of validity from HFD to the use with deaf children.
