The protocol of psychological evaluation in the area of health represents an important resource for the investigation of psychological implications of human illness, mainly for the hospitalized child. This study objectified to make a protocol of hospital psychological evaluation for the burnt child. The protocol presents a proposal of evaluation whith multiple factors to be used in three phases, seeking to prioritize (1) preliminary information on the child through psychosocial data, psychcological functions and its amendments, (2) observation of relevant aspects, such as, adaptation capacities, and (3) application of evaluation instruments: Ludic Interview, Human Figure Drawing (HFD), Child Depression Inventory (CDI), Child Stress Scale (CSS), Evaluation of Coping Hospitalization (ECH). It is recommended the application of this protocol in researches in the area of pediatric psychology. It is believed that this instrument may contribute to the scientific development of hospital psychological evaluation in the infant universe.
