Abstract

The organizational support, or labor support, is related to the development of beliefs by parts of employees about how much the organization values and cares for their welfare. According to this definition, this research aimed to build the Escala de Suporte Laboral (ESUL) and studies of evidence of construct validity and reliability of the same. To this end, data were collected in a sample of 312 college students who worked. Data were analyzed using inferential statistics, through factor analysis of all the items constructed. The results achieved after factor analysis allowed to show construct validity of the ESUL, the 66 items constructed initially spent 24, clumped into four categories with factor loading and reliability indices satisfactory, these being benefits and Organization Collaborating Interaction interactions between employees; information. The achievement of objectives proposed in this study allows for continuity in the process of validity of ESUL, seeking new studies, standardization and evaluation for the Federal Council of Psychology.
