Intelligence has received great attention from psychologist researchers since the begging of Psychology as a scientific field. Raven Advanced Progressive Matrix is an intelligence test widely used over the world (Raven APM). This paper aimed at verifying validity evidences from Raven APM with Abstract Reasoning Test from Bateria de Provas de Raciocínio. Data collection was conducted with 162 university students from a public university in the south of Brazil, mean aged 23.4 years old, mostly women. Both tests were analyzed with Rasch model and their association was verified through their correlation index. There was a moderate significant correlation, suggesting good validity evidences for Raven APM. Results were discussed considering some psychometric properties of the tests and the association level that was observed.
