The analysis showed that most part of this instruments (n = 58) was already available on the market before the publication of the resolution in 2001, which justifies, in part, the lack of studies that meet the minimum criteria established. It should be noted that until that time there were any type of regarding the quality of tests. The results indicated that most of problems presented to these instruments involve the personality and intelligence constructs, and indicate problems with studies of validity, reliability and standardization, although noted problems with theoretical support and mistakes in the use of statistical analysis.
