Abstract

HESSE, Ute; CAPITAO, Cláudio; MUNER, Luana Comito  and  ROSSI, André. A correlational study of the HumanGuide and the Personality Factor Inventory. Aval. psicol. [online]. 2015, vol.14, n.3, pp. 403-411. ISSN 1677-0471.

This paper aimed to conduct an exploratory study based on the correlation between the eight factors of HumanGuide (HG) and the dimensions of the Factorial Personality Inventory (BFP). Both instruments evaluate personality as a construct, in which factors mirror the similarities of the individual’s own profile characteristics. The sample consisted of 78 professional horseback riders between the ages of 18 and 60 (M=36.06; SD=9.42). Through correlational analysis with the BFP, 56 statistically significant correlations with low and moderate magnitude were found. The HG, as an automated instrument, proved itself to be quick and economical in the evaluation process

Keywords : psychological assessment; big-five model; personality.
