The results indicated that the relevance of a factorial solution consisting of: Factor 1, with 16 items interpreted as restrictions and barriers for creativity in which content negatively affects creative expression; and factor 2, that has 12 items interpreted as attributes and features that encourage creativity, including content that elicits creative expression. As to the accuracy of the instrument, by means of Cronbach's alpha coefficients, the test showed good internal consistency points for both factors. It is concluded that, based on the results of initial studies, the EPCO presented satisfactory psychometric properties for the assessment of creativity.
