Abstract

MOSMANN, Clarisse Pereira et al. Psychometric properties of the brazilian version of the coparenting inventory for parents and adolescents (CI-PA). Aval. psicol. [online]. 2018, vol.17, n.3, pp. 399-406. ISSN 1677-0471.  http://dx.doi.org/10.15689/ap.2018.1703.14281.13.

This study aimed to examine the psychometric properties of a Brazilian version of The Coparenting Inventory for Parents and Adolescents (CI-PA) in a sample of 411 adolescents, from 11 to 18 years of age (M = 14.44 years, SD = 1.86). Confirmatory Factor Analyses were performed through Structural Equations Modeling to test the factorial structure of the sample. The reliability of the inventory was tested by Cronbach's Alpha coefficients, Extracted Mean Variance and Composite Reliability. And the invariance between groups of boys and girls was verified by Multigroup Confirmatory Factor Analysis. Results confirmed a three-factor structure, with good fit of the models with invariance between the groups analyzed. The reliability of the scale presented adequate values. The tests performed suggest that CI-PA has satisfactory psychometric properties in the adolescent population of the sample.
