This study aimed to verify the relationship of career adaptability and occupational self-efficacy with variables that characterize the worker's career. The sample consisted of 351 workers aged between 18 and 65 years (M = 33.48; SD = 9.81), with 220 (62.7%) female participants. Three instruments were answered online, a sociodemographic questionnaire, the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS) - Brazil and the Occupational Self-Efficacy Scale - Reduced Version. The results showed that individuals with higher self-efficacy beliefs demonstrate higher levels in all CAAS dimensions. The Control dimension and self-efficacy were shown to be predictors of levels of satisfaction with the current occupation and monthly income, in addition to the range of income the worker has. According to the literature of the area, the hypotheses were partially corroborated.
