Abstract

NAKANO, Tatiana de Cassia. Current methods for evaluating creativity: advantages and questions. Aval. psicol. [online]. 2020, vol.19, n.1, pp. 97-105. ISSN 1677-0471.  http://dx.doi.org/10.15689/ap.2020.1901.14269.11.

Given the importance of creativity in different contexts, a large number of measures can be found in the scientific literature. More recently, advances in psychometry and theoretical models have allowed the development of new methods for evaluating creativity, this being the focus of this text. Among these methods, the subjective evaluation, uniqueness score, Top 2, average score, consensual evaluation and snapshot are presented, with these methods being the most recently used in the international scientific literature and still little explored in Brazil. Examples of usage and critiques of each of the methods, if any, are also presented.

Keywords : measurement; psychological tests; psychological assessment.
