GUIMARAES-EBOLI, Nicole Medeiros  e  PASIAN, Sonia Regina. Psychometric evidence for the Desiderative Questionnaire in adults. Aval. psicol. [online]. 2020, vol.19, n.2, pp. 179-188. ISSN 1677-0471.  http://dx.doi.org/10.15689/ap.2020.1902.08.

This study aimed to systematize accuracy indicators and the response pattern (normative references) for the Desiderative Questionnaire in adult individuals, focusing on variables related to the Adequacy to Real, Logical Functioning, Affective Manifestations and Instrumental Defenses, as central elements in the understanding of psychological dynamism through this projective psychological assessment method. A total of 60 female volunteers, 30-50 years of age, non-patients, with medium or higher education, were evaluated using a set of psychological instruments (including the Desiderative Questionnaire). The results were analyzed descriptively in terms of the central variables of the Desiderative Questionnaire, with the presentation of positive indicators of accuracy of the assessment system used, as well as response patterns compatible with those expected according to the scientific literature, consistent with the functioning of the healthy and adaptive personality (adult women without signs of mental health disorders). These data add to those already existing on the Desiderative Questionnaire in Brazil, offering technical and scientific support for the use of this instrument in the national context.
