Abstract

TOUS, Josep M.; VIADE, Albert  and  MUINOS, Rubén. Factorial structure of miokinétic psychodiagnosis-revised and digitalized (MKP-RD) lineograms on two sample one of men and another of women. Psicol. rev. (Belo Horizonte) [online]. 2006, vol.12, n.19, pp. 11-22. ISSN 1677-1168.

This study consists of the application of a Main Components analysis followed by an Oblimin rotation to data obtained from the graphical record of manual motor behaviour without vision. The data come from two samples of college students, one of men and another of women, who have been controlled in what concerns hand dominance. Five independent factors were obtained. From those, only two show confusion with hand dominance, and correspond to horizontal strokes. Data show that there is a tendency to change the length of the stroke in reference to the proposed model. Independently, there is a tendency to deviate towards a certain direction, which is the same both in intentional and in non-intentional response, and is also present in the various spatial directions of the performed task. In addition, the recorded response does not depend on sex, as the same number of factors and the same composition have been found in both sexes. The data sustain the hypothesis of a motor disposition for behaviour tendencies.

Keywords : Graphic motor perfomance; Motor indicators; Motor schemata; Manual dominance; Motor control.
