Abstract

Violence, guilt and act: causes and subjective effects in teenagers. Psicol. rev. (Belo Horizonte) [online]. 2010, vol.16, n.3, pp. 537-556. ISSN 1677-1168.

This article presents a survey on violence and teenagers, pointing out the objective, causes and subjective effects that trigger violence nowadays. A qualitative research with theoretical and conceptual psychoanalysis model is presented, focusing on such concepts such as malaise, law, anomie, boundaries, social bounds, need, desire, guilt, acting, individualism, capitalist discourse, love, life and death. Photos and movies fragments were showed to teenagers inserted in the project Pro-Jovem, developed at Maracanaú city, Ceará, Brazil. The analysis confirmed the research’s assumptions that violence is directly related to the ineffectiveness of normative discourse; guilt does not show up as result of unclosed acts against a fellowman and that the subject is not guided by a mythical reference of the law

Keywords : violence; guilt; act; teen; law.
