Abstract

The school is responsible for managing co-existence and to provide students learning that leads to social competence. The development of social skills such as interpersonal problem solving is related to reduced conflict and emotional and behavioral difficulties. This article presents an account of professional experience with the development of skills in interpersonal problems solving with students from 4º grade of elementary school I of Colégio Israelita Brasileiro. It was noted that work on the skills of interpersonal problem solving in school is critical to the management of conflicts. The article provides reflection on management of relationships in school through work with social skills.
