Abstract

FLAVIO SILVA COUTO, Luis; SANTOS BISPO, Fábio  and  BARROSO LEO, Maíra. Perspective for treatment direction in psychoanalysis in a College's Psychology Clinic. Psicol. rev. (Belo Horizonte) [online]. 2014, vol.20, n.2, pp. 395-417. ISSN 1677-1168.  http://dx.doi.org/DOI-10.5752/P.1678-9523.2014v20n2p395.

This report presents two different perspectives of a psychoanalytic clinical direction in the Lacanian's orientation treatment in one clinical school of Psychology. The first one illustrates a direction based on Psychoanalysis in intension, governed by the conditions suggested by Freud. As the patient rarely wholeheartedly starts psychoanalysis, or satisfactory completes the process with a first insight into the subject's position in the reality, which can provide a subjective rectification. The second one comes up with another possibility of orientation, based on what Lacan calls Psychoanalysis in extension. This direction is one praxis of Psychoanalysis applied to the therapeutics, whose end is to prospect the circumscription of enjoyment as an event that closes a cycle of work, as proposed in the clinical conversation with Jacques-Alain Miller in Barcelona in 2005
