Abstract

CARMONA, Daniele Rodrigues Souza  and  BATISTA, Cássia Beatriz. Scenarios of learning and understanding health: the perception of Psychology students on their formation. Psicol. rev. (Belo Horizonte) [online]. 2016, vol.22, n.1, pp. 46-68. ISSN 1677-1168.  http://dx.doi.org/DOI-10.5752/P.1678-9523.2016V22N1P46.

The study, conducted in psychology course at a private university in Belo Horizonte, aimed to identify the concepts of health and training built into the academic career of the students. In exploratory way, the study was conducted with questionnaires and focus group students in veterans' psychology course. Students take the WHO's definition of health as the reference in their speeches on the concept of health; identify a set of learning scenarios in health present in its shaping, in which we highlight the supervised internships and some disciplines over others less experienced such as research and extension; observe that the themes the most present in health psychology training are "mental health" followed by "health and work";. The trajectory of the students surveyed demonstrates the dimensions present in the formal graduation, as well as instituting ongoing aspects, specifically in the teaching-learning processes, encouraged mainly by Prohealth program
